The Garrison Public Library is located at 201 E Pine St. The library was built in 2013-14 after a derecho destroyed the original building in 2011. The library  board worked hard to accomplish this dream through fundraisers, grants and donations to use along with the insurance, to build a new library.  Many, many neighbors donated their money and time to complete the building. Today, the library is a debt free building. 

The Garrison Library provides the ususal services like books, dvds, WiFi, computers, copies, printing, faxing and reading programs. It also provides  services like notary, proctoring, photo printing, maker space, VR station, Lego Club, Cricut, craft crops, and a food pantry. There is an Activity Room with a    full kitchen, that can be rented out for your events.
